Volunteering Teams summer 2020

Basilicata Link is happy to share the new VOLUNTEERING TEAMS opportunities in MATERA for 2020. We are searching for 20 youth from European Countries who want to take part in Solidarity Actions for a more sustainable life.

Volunteering Teams is a quite recent invention of the European Union, included in the European Solidarity Corps. It means that min. 10 people, from at least 2 different countries do a short-term activity whichsupports local communities in a Solidarity Actions. Future Beyond 2019 will welcome:

• 10 young people between 18 and 30 years (6 EU residence and 4 Italians)
• for 14 days of activities plus 2 days of travel
• to realize activities connected with nature, environmental education, gardening and planting, recycling of food waste and cooking.

 

The activities we plan are strongly connected to our local community, local partners and local youth, with the objective of become more engaged in activities linked to environmental and social issues. During both flows (hosting dates) the volunteers will have the chance to get to know from inside the Italian culture and local traditions, living in a international setting, discovering a Capital of Culture just after the year of glory with many cultural inputs.
